$90,000 – $105,000 annually (non-exempt, overtime eligible)

Role Overview
As a Word Processing Operator, you’ll support legal professionals by creating, revising, and troubleshooting legal and business documents using MS Office and legal-specific tools. You’ll also provide document support to users and maintain detailed records of work completed.
️ Core Responsibilities
Create and edit legal documents to firm standards using MS Office
Format complex docs: TOCs, TOAs, cross-references, and defined terms
Create presentations, financial statements, charts, and mail merges
Troubleshoot document issues, including file corruption recovery
Use tools like Change Pro, Worksite, Payne Numbering, Adobe, EDGAR
Answer calls from firm employees needing document or application support
Log and manage tickets using iSupport system
Maintain an accurate workflow diary
Provide front desk coverage when the Supervisor is unavailable
Work overtime as required to meet tight deadlines
Required Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: 2–4 years in a center-based environment
Proficiency in MS Word; intermediate in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong proofreading, formatting, and quality assurance skills
Legal document knowledge (TOCs, TOAs, defined terms, mail merges, etc.)
Understanding of legal-industry software: Worksite, Payne Numbering
Strong customer service, communication, and analytical skills
Discretion with confidential legal content
Strong time management in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a large law firm
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and EDGAR
Technical school certification
