Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Sunbelt Staffing, a top staffing agency in education and healthcare, is looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and deliver outstanding services to a school district in Michigan for students in K-12th. This contract position is available for the upcoming academic year and provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals while making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
On-site or remote opportunities available
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Communication Disordersfrom an accredited program
Current Michigan state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Strong organizational and time management skills
