SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

Summary:

The intent of this work order is to supplement the Cloud Services team focusing on

designing, developing, and maintaining custom SharePoint solutions and applications

using the Microsoft Power Apps Platform. This role includes creating and customizing

SharePoint sites, developing applications, automating workflows, and integrating with

other business systems. This individual will need to work with various business and

technology groups to understand requirements for each area of the organization.

Design documentation will need to be produced documenting final deployment details

along with support procedures as needed. Architectural technical and documentation

skills are equally important for this position.

Under general supervision, the contractor will serve as a senior development

consultant responsible for the development and maintenance of architecture models for

large-scale enterprise web applications. The contractor designs component structures

and relationships, builds architecture framework, utilizes development application

technologies such as services-oriented architecture (SOA), workflow engines, business

rules engines, and SharePoint technologies to build secure high-performance,

maintainable application architectures. The contractor works with cloud application

and systems analysts in the design of application components within the SC-DOR

software development life cycle. The contractor also works with senior cloud analysts

to develop architecture frameworks for responsible programs

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS

At a minimum, Suppliers will run:

• Nationwide criminal history check, which must include Federal, State, and

County records for the states (or countries if applicable) where the Supplier’s

employee has resided in the past seven years

• Credit history check

• E-Verify in compliance with FAR E-Verify clause FAR 52.222-54,

Employment Verification. As proof of enrollment, Supplier will provide UGU

a copy of its “Maintain Company” page from E-Verify.

All hired contractors will have their South Carolina tax history checked. Contractors

must be current on filings and payments.

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Non-Technical

- Effectively interact and communicate with peers to Director-level IT

professionals

- Highly confident with providing support and training to users

- Display sound communication skills while acting as a point of contact between

your team and clients. Patient, level-headed and cool under pressure

- Provide feedback to team regarding product issues, enhancements, and new

features

- Must have initiative, drive, and be a self-starter

- Ability to ask pertinent questions of others

- Proactively seek to identify, communicate, and implement process related

improvements

- Effectively manage multiple tasks and activities concurrently and able to provide

periodic status updates to key stakeholders

- Prioritize numerous issues of varying severity, and effectively manage the

resolution of all issues within accepted service levels. This includes ownership

of the data entered into the Helpdesk system, and appropriately updating both

client and appropriate employees of status of all issues on a timely basis

- Detail-oriented and meticulous with a keen desire to deliver the highest quality

solutions to clients and setting high standards for excellent client service

- Ability to perform unattended troubleshooting, document said troubleshooting,

and hand off for other techs.

Technical

The contractor will:

- Troubleshoot and recommend technical solutions for customer issues

related to software setup and configuration pertaining to SCDOR cloud

applications and other custom SharePoint on-premises and cloud solutions

- Have expertise and experience with working with Power Apps platform to

deliver business change

- Design, develop, and implement GenAI-driven solutions using Copilot and

Copilot Studio

- Experience of working in both Agile and Waterfall development models

and able to recommend difference approaches based on the specific project

outcomes

- Provide technical support for SharePoint and PowerApps users, including

troubleshooting issues and providing solutions

- Work with users to gather requirements, design solutions, and deploy new

PowerApps applications or SharePoint Online features

- Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure proper

integration of SharePoint and PowerApps with other tools and systems

- Provide simple training / ”how-to” documentation for business users and be

able to coach lead users through new ways of working

- Experience developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as

well as enhancing existing apps

- Have expertise and experience with HTML 5, .Net Framework, C#,

ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, CSS 3, SharePoint Server 2019,

JavaScript, and RESTful application design

- Be required to provide technical documentation to include, but not limited

to, governance and instructional documentation

- Develop workaround solutions as appropriate

- Monitor and assess current systems and recommend enhancements, as

needed, based on data gathered

Act as technical resource for other IT analysts and business units by

resolving complex cloud systems problems pertaining to web application

design, deployment, and/or support

- Diagnose and resolve problems related to applications and systems for

which the Cloud Services team is responsible

- Escalate complex problems to other internal IT groups, or vendors for

resolution

- Install, configure, test, monitor, and maintain systems and application

software and peripherals for users; install and configure servers required for

designed solutions

- Adhere to corporate information security guidelines and promote

information security among coworkers

- Qualified candidate will be responsible for performing root cause analysis

and resolution

- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree in information

technology systems, computer science,

or related field and eight (8) years of

experience in information technology

systems or related area. ; or an

associate's degree and ten (10) years

of experience in information

technology systems or related area; or

a high school diploma and twelve (12)

years of experience in information

technology systems or related area.
