Summary/Objectives
RJ Young is seeking a Software Developer Intern to help build automated end-to-end tests for our Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply development skills in a QA context, working with modern tools like .NET and Playwright. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on improving the reliability and performance of our systems through automation.
Essential Functions

Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and .NET
Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify high-impact test scenarios
Investigate and document test results and failures
Contribute to internal tools or scripts that enhance the QA process
Participate in code reviews and project management ceremonies
Maintain organized and version-controlled test scripts
Work Environment
This internship opportunity is in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Required Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Moderate understanding of C#/.NET fundamentals
Interest or experience in automated testing and QA practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Clear written and verbal communication
Preferred Education and Experience
Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or other test automation frameworks
Experience working with APIs or web-based systems like Salesforce
Prior coursework or project experience in software testing or automation
