Brayman Precast is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to work in our precast concrete manufacturing facility in Saxonburg, PA.

The Batch Plant Operator will weigh and mix concrete materials.

He or she will handle material and operate equipment in order to load, batch and test concrete products to meet plan specifications.

In addition to the operation of the batch plant, the Batch Plant Operator is responsible for essential housekeeping and the maintenance and repair of the plant and surrounding workspace to ensure safe operation.

Required Skills/Abilities of the Batch Plant Operator: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working understanding of computers.

Thorough understanding of the robotic or computer-operated machinery to be used.

Ability to operate technical machinery and basic hand tools.

Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices.

Strong mathematical skills.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience with computerized batching systems (or similar experience). Recent work history.

Microsoft office (Word, Excel) knowledge helpful but not required.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions.

This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances.

This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.

Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
