Medical Technologist

ENTRY REQUIREMENT : Graduate of BS in Medical Technology/duly registered by PRC A Responsible for:

Verifying installed medical packages for special requirement/instructions, when in doubt.

Recording laboratory request in the Laboratory Masterlist and performing Laboratory procedures as required, e.g Blood Extraction; Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS); routine Urinalysis, Fecalysis; Blood Chemistry; HEPA-A,B,C, TPHA Test; Complete Blood Count Test among others and conducting Blood Typing.

Counterchecking and signing of laboratory reports prior to issuance.

Sending applications for proficiency test, when available, e.g. DOH-IDTOMIS for blind samples for specimen analysis and validity test.

Printing Quality Control reports weekly (every Saturday) to ensure all data for the week will be recorded so that at the end of the month, all reports for graphing are compiled noting the expiration date. B Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
