Morris Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle Health General Laboratory and Blood Bank Consultant to support our healthcare clients with expert advisory, implementation, and system maintenance services. This role centers on the Oracle Health General Laboratory and Blood Bank solution, rebranded from Cerner PathNet General Laboratory/Blood Bank.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert consulting services for Oracle Health General Laboratory and Blood Bank (formerly Cerner PathNet General Laboratory/Blood Bank) across client engagements.

Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration updates, and optimizations to ensure reliable laboratory and blood bank operations.

Lead and coordinate change management activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder communication, and successful system updates.

Work closely with client stakeholders to evaluate, document, and implement system build change requests.

Own and manage the ServiceNow request lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking and resolution of client-reported issues and change requests.

Support clients operating within multi-hub healthcare environments, offering guidance on system performance, scalability, and integration.

Deliver strategic recommendations based on Oracle Health best practices and evolving product capabilities.

Collaborate with Morris Technology Solutions’ internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all projects.

Required Qualifications

5–10 years of experience supporting and/or implementing Oracle Health General Laboratory and Blood Bank (formerly Cerner PathNet).

Demonstrated experience working within multi-hub healthcare system environments.

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, laboratory science, IT, or a related field - OR - a minimum of 10 years of healthcare industry experience.

Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, LIS configuration, and operational support.

Experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical and clinical stakeholders.

Self-starter capable of operating independently in fast-paced, client-facing consulting engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

MT (Medical Technologist) or MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) certification.

Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements impacting laboratory and blood bank operations.

Previous consulting experience within healthcare technology or LIS environments.

Awareness of Oracle Health product roadmap and integration considerations.
