Job Summary: The CADD Specialist for Project Implementation is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD or other CAD software to support the implementation phase of construction and engineering projects.
The role works closely with project engineers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure that designs are executed accurately on-site, and updated as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and revise technical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layouts based on project requirements.
Interpret architectural and engineering plans, and translate them into detailed CAD documents.
Assist the project team during project execution by providing updated and coordinated drawings reflecting site changes.
Maintain proper version control of drawings and ensure documentation is up to date.
Ensure CAD outputs follow applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Provide drawing support for material take-offs, project reporting, and documentation.
Qualifications: Graduate of BS Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in CAD drafting, preferably in a construction or engineering setting.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge in Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site implementation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
