Job summary

The DigiCert ONE CA team is looking for a knowledgeable Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our agile cross-functional team to build the future of PKI and security management.

What you will do

Collaborate with an agile cross-functional engineering team in developing and implementing QA testing strategy

Determine the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, API, functional/performance/load, etc.)

Create processes to validate data quality, including well-structured test plans and test cases

Improve and build upon our test suite, test guidelines, and testing culture

Review and test your teammates pull requests

Develop a deep understanding of products, architecture, and systems

Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues

What you will have

5+ years of industry experience – QA automation experience with Python, including writing Python scripts (essential)

Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Postman, or other API testing frameworks and technologies

Familiarity with QA automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools

Familiarity with SQL and relational databases

Ability to research and learn new technologies

Strong interpersonal communication skills – must enjoy working and collaborating with a team

The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support the team

Nice to have

Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, and other security related technologies

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, etc., or equivalent years of experience in the industry
