IT Audit Manager

Our client is seeking a contract IT Audit Manager to join their team. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our IT systems and processes. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50 to $60 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Assist with a SAP conversion by conducting control testing

Collaborate with management to identify and assess IT and related business risks

Prepare documentation (e.g., narratives, flowcharts, control matrices, audit reports) to support assurance and consulting work

Maintain viable working relationships with CIO, subsequent IT management, and external IT auditing managers

Coordinate audit timing with management and communicate to senior leadership

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business/Management, Computer Science, or related field

Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIA, CPA, GIAC, PPM, or PMP

Skills:

Proficiency in Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies

Familiarity with audit reports, control summaries, and work programs

Knowledge of COBIT, internal controls, and ethical compliance

Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in information technology
