Performs prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and functions as a resource person to achieve therapeutic goals in the care of patient's cardiopulmonary dysfunctions.

Consults with physicians and other health team members to determine treatment procedures and time schedules.

Actively participates in in-service education, infection control and performance improvement programs.
