Producer
This at-will position is being hired to support a specific client project. While this role is a full-time position with Falcon's Creative Group, employment will not extend beyond the duration of the project. The assignment will conclude once the project is completed, at which time employment with Falcon's Creative Group will end. The expected project timeline is to be determined. For avoidance of doubt, employment with Falcon's would be at-will at all times, meaning that the employee or Falcon's may terminate the employment at any time (including prior to the conclusion of the project).
The producer is responsible for the development and management of all assigned project-related aesthetic, show, and guest-experience elements. The producer acts as the central driver of vision, schedule, budget, and quality, partnering with creative, technical, and operational teams to ensure that every element aligns with the project's storytelling, brand, and overall business goals. The producer functions as the "show owner," maintaining the creative intent while ensuring a seamless integration of design across multiple disciplines.
Essential Functions:
The producer is responsible for ensuring the project's creative design intent is successfully achieved in all guest experience-related aspects of the project.
Responsible for partnering with the cross-disciplinary teams to develop, review, and manage scopes, contract documents, cost estimates, schedules, strategies, and work plans to align with achieving the project's creative intent.
Ensure guest-experience and creative design intent is properly articulated and documented by phase.
Continually track the status of projects to understand what phase they're in.
Help steer decision-making to ensure milestones and timelines are being met for projects under your purview.
Communicate with upper management on a regular basis.
Help manage and interface with appropriate internal and external resources through every step of the contracted phase to ensure creative intent documentation (artwork, models, design packages, treatments, etc.) is properly developed.
Ensure conformance with design direction with any and all 3rd party vendors and consultants.
Collaborate with project leads to proactively strategize, solve, or elevate project needs/ conflicts.
Perform other duties as assigned that are directly associated with the project phase.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree: Theatrical Arts, Theme Park Associated Design or related field is preferred.
7+ years' experience in theme park design and design management, theatrical, theme park or other media related design/production field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required: experience as an associate show producer for theme park attraction projects from design through installation.
Strong production and management portfolio.
Knowledge of design management, work planning, budgeting, scheduling, bid package preparation, and variety of vendors.
Knowledge of theme park technologies including ride, A/V, robotics, engineering, holograms, projection mapping, and various show systems.
Knowledge of theme park related architectural, project management, organizational, and production/construction practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead creative and technical teams on multiple complex aspects of the project phase. Instill a spirit of teamwork and promote staff development.
Make independent choices free from immediate supervision.
Travel is required depending upon workshops and board presentations.
Role requires a high degree of collaboration and teamwork with internal and external partners.
Requires highly effective communication skills.
