Penn Highlands Healthcare offers innovative hematology and oncology care with an integrated healthcare system that offers supportive services through a comprehensive breast service line, new GI lab, interventional radiology, PET/CT, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, and The Lung Center - named a Center of Excellence with the Lung Cancer Alliance and UPMC Center of Excellence of Lung Cancer Screening.

Clinical Details:

Collaborative team that includes 4 hematology-oncology physicians and 7 advanced practice providers that deliver outstanding, multidisciplinary care to patients

Services include immunotherapy, management of solid tumors, chemotherapy, blood cancers

Support staff includes onsite RN supervisor and oncology certified or eligible RNs

Shared call coverage with physician group

Administrative Details:

Previous Medical Director experience a must (5-10 years preferred)

Workload split 70-30 (clinical versus admin)

Board certified hematology/oncology

Medical Director will be expected to be on site at all locations at least monthly. All within a 30 minute drive from Penn Highlands Dubois.

Oversee system/region oncology services
