Automotive Technician - Autonomous Vehicles
We're seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to support the development and deployment of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. In this hands-on role, you'll work at the intersection of automotive engineering and robotics-building, modifying, and maintaining the electrical and mechanical systems that bring self-driving vehicles to life.
What You'll Do:
Build and install complex vehicle wiring harnesses for power and data communication, using engineering schematics and diagrams
Perform low-voltage electrical wiring tasks across automotive, commercial truck, or off-road platforms
Modify vehicle systems-mechanical and electrical-to support the integration of autonomy hardware and software
Independently transform high-level engineering concepts into fully functional vehicle systems
Prototype and iterate quickly to support dynamic development timelines
Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
Support testing and validation efforts, including setup and execution of test procedures
Maintain clear documentation of processes, builds, and test results
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Logistics
Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by following best practices

Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, particularly in robotics or autonomous applications
Hands-on experience with vehicle electronics, including ADAS components and CAN bus communication
Familiarity with rapid prototyping and a range of fabrication methods
Comfortable working with schematics, diagnostic tools, and vehicle telemetry systems
Preferred Qualifications:
ASE Certification or equivalent technical credentials
Experience with medium- or heavy-duty vehicles, including diagnostics and repairs
Familiarity with autonomy sensors-LiDAR, radar, and camera systems-and their integration into vehicle platforms
Proficient with both Windows and Linux operating environments
