Affinity System Administrator

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote PST hours)

6-month W2 assignment

Pay: $65-75/HR

Our client, a leading private university in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking anAffinity System Administratorto join their Medical Enterprise team. You will be supporting access and application functionality within our healthcare environment, with a focus on the Affinity platform. This role plays a key part in ensuring clinical systems are integrated smoothly and securely, enabling optimal patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for Affinity access, integration, and application functionality within the hospital system.

Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to implement and maintain integration solutions that support healthcare workflows.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application interoperability and system performance.

Ensure integrations comply with healthcare industry standards, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and organizational security protocols.

Develop and maintain documentation related to integration processes, workflows, and access protocols.

Participate in testing and validation of system integrations, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted clinical data exchange.

Monitor system interfaces and proactively address potential disruptions to clinical operations.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Affinity and related healthcare application integrations.

Solid understanding of healthcare data exchange standards such as HL7, FHIR, or CDA.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience supporting applications in a hospital or clinical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other clinical systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) or healthcare interface engines.

Familiarity with healthcare IT standards and compliance requirements.

Background in healthcare IT or working directly with clinical stakeholders.
