Project Scheduler - Automation & Manufacturing Integration
Summary
The Project Scheduler plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing project timelines. This position is responsible for sequencing material deliveries, integrating project schedules with manufacturing lead times, and ensuring a smooth flow across machining, assembly, and integration. The role acts as a central coordinator between sourcing, production, and logistics to ensure timely project execution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Support the development and review of integrated project schedules
Drive execution of the Project Sourcing Plan across internal functions
Proactively identify and resolve scheduling system conflicts (e.g., BOM changes, delinquent orders, ERP discrepancies)
Review project timing to identify risks or conflicts and escalate issues to Project Management
Communicate potential timing risks and schedule conflicts to CIO Leader and stakeholders
Attend Project Management Kickoff Meetings and contribute to timeline alignment
Organize RFQs for manufacturing and purchasing; classify machining parts by type and commercial parts by vendor
Responsible for purchase requisition (PR) creation
Maintain revision control at the platform/project level Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Systems & Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP/GPS preferred)
Knowledge of manufacturing integration, logistics, and planning processes
Proficient in planning tools: Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirement Planning, and Daily Production Scheduling
Familiarity with PLM GPS systems and warehouse/transportation management
General IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, project tracking tools) Functional Expertise:
Supply chain and purchasing techniques
Capacity management and workflow coordination
Experience with project monitoring, demand forecasting, and inventory control
Awareness of EHS and World Class Manufacturing principles
Comprehension of Comau products, solutions, and internal procedures (preferred) Behavioral Competencies

Education:
Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in an automation or manufacturing integration environment
