The Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line is seeking a uniquely qualified and motivated individual to join the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program as a Product Test Engineer. This individual will be responsible for Test Engineering support to the production line.

As a Product Test Engineer for THAAD, responsibilities of the job will include but not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Support the test and troubleshooting of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA’s), modules, and sub-assemblies, working directly with Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) personnel as needed.

Collaborate with manufacturing test personnel staff to debug failures down to the module and component level.

Focus on continuous improvement opportunities for the test processes.

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Must currently possess an Active Secret Clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in product testing, test engineering, or a related field, or one year of experience with a Master's degree in a related field.

Advanced circuit analysis skills to support troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.

Experience with NI LabWindows CVI and NI TestStand.

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience with VXI or other concurrent instrumentation.

Familiarity with military / high reliability test processes, including environmental stress screening.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Experience in US defense industry manufacturing operations is highly desirable for this position.

Experience with Lean Systems and/or Six Sigma, continuous improvements, 5S and meeting compliance requirements.
