Responsibilities:
Processes prize claims up to and including grand prize winners
Creates correspondence from the tickets received using a database for all the pending, non-winning, expired, mutilated, or already paid tickets
Providing customer service to players, outside agencies and other departments in regards to payments
Ensures appropriate prize claims are reviewed for legally mandated collection of debt owed to other participating state agencies (debt setoff)
Supporting regional offices in the validation and payment of prizes
Troubleshoot technical issues within the cash and payment system
Prepares daily reconciliations and reports
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Business Administration or an Accounting/Finance field preferred and 2 year of experience with a banking or financial background preferred
Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with databases
Notary Public Certification and TIN Matching preferred
Experience handling confidential information
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to handle fast paced, frequently changing workload
Great customer service skills, calm under pressure
Good communication skills, ability to clearly explain financial related concepts
Hiring Rate: $40,203 (this non-exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary)
