Experience level: Mid-senior Experience required: 7 Years Education level: Bachelors degree Job function: Information Technology Industry: Information Technology and Services Pay rate : View hourly payrate Total position: 1 Relocation assistance: No Visa sponsorship eligibility: No Job Description Mainframe Architect who has got sound knowledge on z/OS System Administration, Production Control, Scheduling, Storage, Network, DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, WAS, RACF, Performance & Capacity Management, Automation (IBM SA & CA OPSMVS) Essential Skills: Highly skilled z/OS System Architect with IODF/IOCP Skills Install, configure, upgrade and maintain IBM z/OS operating system and associated system software (e.g., SMP/E, JES2, RACF, SMF) Must have wider understanding on Production Control and Scheduling to drive the team and experience with IWS (TWS) & JOBTRAC tools Deep understanding of IBM Z architecture, workload management (WLM), performance tuning, and system-level debugging Expertise in z/OS version upgrades and z/OS MF Experience with VTS & Hardware Upgrades Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Mainframe Professionals including System Programmers, Administrators, Production Control Provide expert-level technical guidance on z/OS systems, Mainframe storage, networking, security, and automation Drive best practices in Mainframe System administration, software upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex system issues and outages Desirable Skills: Knowledge in Mainframe System Automation tools i.e., IBM SA z/OS and CA OPS/MVS Expertise in Mainframe Network Administration Good understanding of Storage, RACF, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, WAS Technologies Good experience in dealing with Migration projects - CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation and vice versa Proficiency in REXX, CLIST and Netview PIPE Programming Prepare and maintain documentation on system configurations, procedures, and best practices Knowledge in REXX Programming Skills Additional Notes: Please submit the candidate's resume in PDF format.

MUST HAVE: 7+ years of experience in Mainframe DB2 Administration.

Extensive experience with z/OS System Architect with IODF/IOCP.

Experience with IWS(TWS) & JOBTRAC tools.

Expertise in z/OS versi Experience with VTS & Hardware Upgrades.

Experience in dealing with Migration projects - CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation.
