We are currently seeking an Automation Process Engineer to join the team in Brooklyn Center, MN that will help us program and coordinate the operation of a new tube laser and robotic welding equipment at our plant. This position will help Endurable maximize the investment being made in new automation equipment. The person hired will work with the CAD, and Operations departments to maximize the utilization of the new automated equipment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Program CNC tube laser and robotic welding equipment

Review CAD drawings and modify as necessary for input into laser and robotic equipment.

Propose any necessary changes to current CAD drawing processes to make them CNC ready.

Ensure laser and robotic equipment are in good working order.

Minimize aluminum scrap through programming of tube laser and material planning.

Maintain a clean and safe environment around the automation equipment.

Prepare regular and special reports regarding equipment utilization and output as required.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge Required

Minimum college degree, masters degree preferred.

Minimum 1 year of working with robotics and automation experience

Strong working knowledge of Solid Works

Manufacturing experience preferred.

Excellent knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook)

Skills and abilities

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English; ability to read and write basic English and speak to large groups.

Ability to successfully communicate with management and co-workers

Ability to be mobile in the work environment

Ability to operate office and computer equipment

Ability to work hours mandated by management

Ability to pass a drug test

Conduct

Strong organization skills and strong attention to detail

Compensation & Benefit Information:

Salary Pay Range: $70,000 - 85,000 annually dependent on experience*

*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay

Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
