General Manager for a brand new elevated steakhouse

Job Description

Join our team at a new concept in Minneapolis as our General Manager! We're an elevated casual restaurant specializing in handcrafted cuisine and cocktails. This new concept will feature a stunning outdoor patio and performance area overlooking the Mississippi river. We're seeking a candidate with experience in a Front of House leadership role!

General Manager Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Oversee operations of the restaurant, maintaining a collaborative environment between FOH and BOH staff

Ensure total guest satisfaction while increasing sales, profits, and brand awareness through excellent execution of operational standards and guidelines.

Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage and labor costs.

General Manager Skills/Qualifications:

4-5 years of restaurant leadership experience.

Genuine enthusiasm and warmth towards the guest and attitude of Service. Is self-motivated and competitive.

Can conduct a variety of administrative duties that maximize the efficiency, productivity, and organization of the restaurant and team.

Has the ability to supervise, coach, develop, lead & motivate employees.

Can establish, maintain and enforce consistently high standards.

Is capable of adapting his/her leadership style to a variety of situations and scenarios.
