***This position is contingent upon contract award***

The Motor Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a broad range of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This includes light- and heavy-duty vehicles, tactical platforms, trailers, and material handling equipment. The mechanic ensures all vehicles are fully mission-capable and compliant with applicable safety and performance standards. Duties include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, replacing components, conducting road tests, and maintaining accurate service records. Work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and contract requirements.

#Intel• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive or heavy vehicle mechanic.

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, • clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.

• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.• Local candidates preferred.

• ASE Certifications (e.g., brakes, diesel engines, electrical/electronic systems).

• Experience with military or government vehicle platforms (e.g., HMMWV, MRAP, LMTV, FMTV).

• Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, Maximo, Costpoint).

• Previous experience in a military motor pool, depot-level maintenance, or defense contracting environment.

• Proficiency in welding, fabrication, or hydraulic system repairs is a plus.• Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.

• Willingness to work in austere or remote environments, if mission dictates.

• Availability to work overtime or non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Strict adherence to safety procedures and required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• U.S. citizenship may be required due to government contract obligations.

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

• Skilled in using diagnostic tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type).

• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in standing, kneeling, or prone positions.
