Guidewire Developer

Job Description

We are hiring a Guidewire Developer to join our team remotely. We are open to any type of Guidewire experience; ideally just looking for someone eager to tackle a brand new Guidewire implementation for a growing organization.

Role Description:

Insurance domain knowledge with Property & Casualty background preferred

Hands on experience in at least one of the Guidewire products (ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter/BillingCenter) Version 10.x / above

Well versed in any one workstream Configuration prefer Guidewire Certification

Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model)

Good knowledge in Web services, XML, JSON,

Good knowledge on Java/J2EE frameworks

Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL

Experience in SCRUM Agile, prefer Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Basic knowledge of any severs such as Tomcat / JBoss

Good written and oral communication

Excellent analytical skill

Potential skills for Tech Lead

Sound knowledge in software architecture and design patterns

Must have estimation, team leading, code review and mentoring skills

Worked on at least two Guidewire implementations

Good to have skills/certifications: AWS experience

Roles and Responsibilities

Complete design and develop accordingly in a timely fashion

Participate in scrum calls and provide status updates

Support sprint planning and collaborate with other teams

Analyze requirements

Complete design and develop accordingly in a timely fashion

Guide the team on tasks

Perform design and code review
