As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector – Workforce Technology team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Job responsibilities
Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
Produces and maintains architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Review Oracle release notes quarterly and conduct impact analysis.
Design, optimize, and deliver solutions using the SaaS Oracle Human Capital Management application.
Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
Ensure security and release processes are followed to reduce risk.
Meet design deliverables and execution deadlines with consistent follow-through and independent work.
Leads functional testing of enhancements to minimize defects, quickly problem-solve, and identify root causes.
Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
Strong experience configuring one or more modules of Oracle HCM Cloud
Provide clear and concise communication and respond in a timely manner
Quickly problem-solve and identify root causes
Leadership experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Oracle HCM Cloud Certified implementation Professional in one or more modules
Experience with Oracle OTBI, APIs and HDL/HSDL
Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio
Experience with ServiceNow
