Position Overview:

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all parts and products meet quality standards and are assembled correctly. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and safety are key.

Job Responsibilities:

Stock shelves and put parts away by hand as needed

Assemble products as required, following specific instructions

Direct the positioning of material in the work area

Record the number of parts produced or processed on time cards and move tickets

Verify the build sheet for special instructions or notes before starting any task

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment

Inspect parts for assembly, drilling, or de-burring

Secure drills and drill jigs for assembly tasks

Install sanding belts on belt sanders

Measure, scribe, and position materials, jigs, or fixtures for alignment

Fit and assemble parts of varying weights, sizes, and shapes into completed units

Unload and load drill fixtures as needed

Check the operation of completed units and adjust as necessary

Job Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety

Ability to lift and carry materials of varying weights
