Fullstack Engineer

Location: NYC

Overview:

Overture Partners' client, a rapidly growing AI startup, is expanding its engineering team to help scale its platform and build new customer-facing features. The company is hiring a full stack engineer who is backend-heavy but has React experience to support the front-end developer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments and can operate without rigid specs or defined tickets.

Tech Stack:

Ruby on Rails

PostgreSQL

AWS

React / React Native (preferred for frontend support)

Key Responsibilities:

Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL

Collaborate with the front-end developer using React (and ideally React Native)

Contribute to product features like AI-powered review automation, CRM integrations, scheduling, and a custom membership management system

Architect new features from the ground up with scalability and performance in mind

Work fully onsite in a collaborative NYC office with future plans for expansion

Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and AWS

Comfortable working in early-stage startups with minimal structure

Practical experience (or strong exposure) to React or React Native

Startup-minded builder who enjoys moving fast and wearing multiple hats

This role is only hiring in person in the NYC office.

Compensation: Base salary will be based on experience and in the range of $150k-$180k, combined with early hire equity
