Essbase Admin

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Essbase Admin to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, MO.

Duties:

Plan and execute quarterly Oracle Essbase patches across development, testing, and production environments

Analyze patch release notes and assess the impact on existing Essbase applications and infrastructure

Develop and maintain detailed patch deployment plans, including rollback procedures

Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to schedule and execute patch deployments

Perform thorough testing and validation of patches to ensure functionality and stability

Monitor Essbase server performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

Manage Essbase security, including user access control and permissions

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless Essbase operations

Adhere to established change management processes for all patch deployments and system modifications

Perform routine Essbase administration tasks, including database maintenance, performance tuning, and security management
