Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Java and AWS to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. The role is hybrid, combining remote flexibility with onsite collaboration for effective teamwork and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices applications.

Implement RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.

Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS for cloud-native application development.

Ensure high performance, scalability, and security in application architecture.

Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services for cloud deployment and management.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization tools.

Familiarity with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Expertise in version control tools like Git and collaboration tools like JIRA.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
