Locums Hospitalist Near Wilson, NC

Hospitalist physician needed in Eastern North Carolina to help provide inpatient coverage. This opportunity offers the charm of a small town combined with plenty of outdoor-water activities.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Assignment length: June-December

• Schedule: 7am-7pm; 4/12-hour shifts per week

• Duties include evaluation, admissions, rounding & discharging

• Average inpatient census: 12-15

• Average number of admissions per day: 5-6

• No ICU work; APP support & cohesive medical staff

Requirements:

• Board Certification: FP/IM/MedPed

• Comfortable w/interpretation of EKG’s & ABG’s

• Active, unrestricted NC medical license

• Current DEA

• 3 Current References

• ACLS/BLS
