AWI is hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a senior project manager, your performance is critical to AWI’s success. You will manage assigned projects from receipt of order, through design and production, to delivery and installation, providing team leadership and direction to maintain customer relationships while ensuring that projects are completed on-time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete assigned projects on schedule, within budget, and within scope while assuring customer satisfaction.

Manage the commercial and technical aspects of assigned projects in accordance with company procedures and contractual requirements.

Provide leadership for the project team and act as the primary point of contact in communications with customers, consulting engineers, contractors, and suppliers.

Manage project schedules for multiple projects in various phases of completion. Coordinate to assure adequate resources are available to execute project work to meet schedule requirements.

Manage procurements to meet project requirements, including preparing requests for quotation, purchase orders, and packing lists.

Prepare project documentation deliverables, including submittal packages and installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.

Occasional travel is required to participate in customer meetings and to visit project site locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant bachelor’s degree and 10 years of applicable work experience as a project manager or project engineer.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Able to work reliably both independently and in a team environment.

Able to read and understand engineering plan drawings.

Able to negotiate approval for deviations from customer specifications.

Proficient with MS Project and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in water-wastewater and/or civil construction.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
