WAGE RANGE*: $58-$61 JOB NUMBER: Client-25-1106-1106C-MTRSC-116474 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline 2-3 years of experience in writing complex SQL queries using PostgreSQL and Oracle.

2-3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting, and data modeling.

2-3 years of experience in software testing, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and reporting defects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Ability to anticipate and identify problems and provide appropriate solutions Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable solutions.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION The Application and Data Services Unit within the IT Division is looking for a Solution Analyst with 2-3 years of experience in SQL query writing (PostgreSQL & Oracle), Power BI (dashboard creation, reporting, and data modeling), software testing, and business analysis.

This role will bridge the gap between data, applications, and business processes to support decision-making and system improvements.

The position will begin as a contract role, with the potential for transition to full-time employment after six to twelve months based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in PostgreSQL and Oracle for data extraction and reporting.

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to provide actionable insights.

Conduct software testing (functional, regression, UAT) to ensure system reliability and performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.

Validate and troubleshoot data inconsistencies across various applications and reports.

Work closely with Vendors, business users, and IT teams to improve application functionality and efficiency.

Serves as liaison and facilitator between business units to assist in addressing and resolving MyTRS issues with vendor resources.

Reviews, analyzes, and completes help desk tickets as appropriate to the position.

Participate in daily huddles and project meetings.

Assist in process automation and system enhancements.
