Software Dev Engineer III

The Client's Homepage team is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will work on front end accessibility compliance initiatives.

Your solutions will impact our customers directly!

Primary responsibilities include resolving identified accessibility issues, defining standards to ensure the issues do not reoccur, tracking and resolving technical challenges.

Responsibilities also include provide status updates to Client's leadership.

Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.

They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.

Preferred coding skills: Web Development, TypeScripts, HTML, CSS, Java.

A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Primary responsibilities include Analysis of existing accessibility tickets, identify solutions which will apply to the future versions of Homepage, identify a gap in mechanisms for web accessibility compliance and identify solutions/mechanisms to enforce compliance.

Responsibility also includes creating a remediation plan to resolve accessibility tickets and providing a status report at a fixed cadence on the progress of the plan to the leadership.

The ideal candidate is someone who wants to pursue a career in software development, eager to enhance their coding skills and gain experience with diverse software applications.

The qualifications for this role involve attention to detail, strong communication skills, organizational abilities, independent work capabilities, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Preferred coding skills: Java, typescript, html, .css, JavaScript, and W3C accessibility compliance experience.

A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Hands on experience with automation testing.
