Program Manager - Automotive OEM Launches Our client in Newaygo MI is seeking a Program Manager with deep automotive experience to lead complex, cross-functional projects from launch through completion.

This role is essential to driving high-stakes programs for OEM customers, ensuring all objectives-technical, financial, and operational-are met on time and with excellence.

This position sits at the heart of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where innovation meets precision.

You'll oversee the entire product lifecycle, aligning cross-functional teams and championing the successful execution of programs that directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities Lead full lifecycle program management from customer award through launch, ensuring milestones for cost, quality, timing, and delivery are met.

Act as the central point of contact for OEM customers, ensuring alignment on expectations, requirements, and timelines.

Direct cross-functional program teams, including Engineering, Sales, Product Development, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.

Provide both technical and financial leadership to ensure optimal use of resources and profitability of programs.

Facilitate milestone reviews, launch readiness assessments, and issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate program progress, risks, and countermeasures clearly to leadership and customers.

Maintain documentation and tracking per internal program management processes (PMP, PDP, LRR, CN, CR, etc.). Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in process, product, and program execution.

Guide and mentor junior team members as needed; may include direct supervision depending on program size.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically with OEM program launches.

Proven success managing complex programs involving cross-functional teams and high revenue impact.

Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.

Deep understanding of technical and financial metrics in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with automotive program tools, processes, and systems (e.g., PMP, PDP, APQP).
