Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer with 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL development and data modeling. This role involves designing scalable database solutions, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop logical and physical data models aligned with business requirements.

Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.

Analyze and refine existing data structures to improve performance and maintainability.

Work closely with data architects and software developers to implement database changes.

Conduct impact analysis and performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL code.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including ER diagrams and data dictionaries.

Assist in data integration, migration, and data quality efforts.

Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

Strong understanding of relational data modeling, normalization, and data integrity principles.

Experience using Oracle SQL Developer and/or Oracle Data Modeler tools.

Solid experience with performance tuning and query optimization.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and SDLC best practices.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

Exposure to Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, or Oracle Cloud services.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Oracle certification (OCA or OCP) is a plus.
