QC Chemist - McPherson, KS

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a QC Chemist to join their team. As a QC Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QC Chemist

Location: McPherson, Kansas

Pay Range: $38-44 per hour

What's the Job?

Perform routine and non-routine chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and wet chemistry methods.

Maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant laboratory records following GMP and quality standards.

Investigate and troubleshoot analytical issues, equipment malfunctions, and data deviations.

Prepare and review technical documents such as test methods, specifications, protocols, and reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.

1–3 years of laboratory experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment preferred.

Proficient with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, UV, etc.) and understanding of USP/EP methodologies.

Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and other regulatory requirements.

Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
