Electrician

Position: Electrician Job Summary Responsible for executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.

Includes installing electrical apparatus, replacing equipment or fixtures, ensuring safety and distribution components are properly installed for optimal functionality and safety.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Perform general electrical maintenance to ensure the ongoing functionality of electrical systems.

Execute plans for electrical wiring installations, including lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems, to ensure optimal operation.

Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems as required.

Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to identify any issues or potential hazards.

Install safety and distribution components such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels to maintain electrical safety standards.

Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility and efficiency of components.

Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them for organized and efficient electrical setups.

Prevent system breakdowns by conducting routine inspections, replacing old wiring and insulated cables, and cleaning circuits as necessary.

Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures as needed to maintain operational efficiency.

Perform effective troubleshooting using appropriate testing devices to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units.

Read technical diagrams and blueprints accurately to understand electrical layouts and requirements.

Troubleshoot electrical issues systematically using a variety of testing devices and methods to ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution.

Perform other functions from time to time as directed from management Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent qualification Minimum 3+ years’ experience working as an electrician Electrical Certification Experience/Skills Required Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.

Experience in the renewable energy field.

Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

Effective problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
