We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for our Before and/or After School Program at Robert Graves in Port Ewen, NY.

PAY: $15.50 per hour

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with fun and interactive activities based on our Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering a wide range of topics from fitness to STEAM, academics, arts, and more! Don't forget about lending a hand with homework!

Help create a safe, healthy, and fun environment where kids can thrive. Be the role model they will look up to every day.

Keep in touch with parents and family members using the Playground App to share updates and special moments.

Stay informed by adhering to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and the host school’s rules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You are at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Having one year of experience working with children under 13 is great, but it's not a requirement. We value passion and potential!

Be prepared to pass a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and SEL & SCR through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.

You’re medically fit for the job and free of communicable diseases, including TB.

You're warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, with great people skills whether you're working with kids, parents, or teammates. You're also professional, reliable, and punctual.

You’re ready to bend, stretch, lift, and carry (up to 50 lbs.) to keep up with energetic kids!
