Warehouse Assistant Manager
Responsible for accurately selecting, counting, and packing products according to customer (individual and retail) needs for order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, good memory skills, ability to move quickly, strong work ethic, ability to work independently, ability to take direction easily and complete the task at hand, a desire to improve efficiencies in the work setting. Must be able to bend over and lift boxes (or other materials) up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities:
Be able to read and understand packing lists (read SKUs, locations, and quantities)
Pick product from proper locations
Keep all areas of the warehouse clean and orderly
Take garbage out
Take cardboard to recycle bin
Understand computer programs regarding shipping
Learn Netsuite procedures
Adjust inventory numbers
Bin transfers
Print packing lists
Mark orders shipped manually
Ship via The Emulator (NS shipping program)
Attention to detail
Unload 40’ containers one box at a time (summer time)
Count product in and upload into Netsuite
Use a pallet jack
Become a certified forklift operator (we will provide the online class)
Communicate with coworkers
Able to work quickly and efficiently
Process returns
Put product away in the proper locations
Able to be on your feet all day
Exercise proper safety measures with using a boxcutter and lifting heavy boxes
Use moveable stairs to pick product on upper shelves
Work collaboratively to organize annual inventory

Learn the routing guidelines for each company
Be able to use other shipping programs
