Examine, analyze, and interpret electric utility accounting records and statements prepared by accountants and analysts in the department to provide guidance in accounting and reporting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, regulatory reporting, budget and forecasting, audit requests, account analysis and special projects, as needed.
2 WFH days per week allowed.
2 years of experience (or 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree) in a utility accounting occupation.
Position requires skills with the following:
- U.S. GAAP
- Regulatory FERC accounting
- Microsoft Excel
- SAP
- BPC
- Power Plant
- Allegro
- Deferred Clause Accounting
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Foreign equivalents accepted.
