Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving the growth of the company’s revenue streams. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase the company’s market share and revenue.
Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying and engaging with potential clients.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company’s goals.
Sales Management: Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present business proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure cohesive strategies and client satisfaction.
Reporting: Regularly update senior management on business development activities, progress, and challenges.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
