Key Responsibilities:
Proactive System Management: Monitor systems daily and ensure timely monthly patching to keep our systems in top-notch condition.
Solve Complex Challenges: Troubleshoot network and application performance issues, recommending effective solutions.
Exceptional Support: Rapidly address and resolve system issues through a ticketing tracking system, with the flexibility to report to customer locations during off-hours when necessary.
Security Focus: Contribute to system hardening and security by implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and patching.
Database Expertise: Leverage your familiarity with SQL Server database environments on Windows servers.
Clear Communication: Create and revise documentation, simplifying complex system configurations in daily standard operating procedures (SOPs), Security Test Procedures (STPs), System Install Procedures (SIPs), System Administration Guides (SAGs), System User Manuals (SUMs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study and 8 or more years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
A minimum 8 years of experience with systems administration
Active Security+ (DoD 8570 Baseline certification for IAT Lvl 2)
Experience with WINS 2012 or higher
Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and
Experience with performing routine patching
Experience installing and configuring software applications
Experience with performance tuning/troubleshooting, identifying/resolving contention in CPU, memory, networking, disk I/O, etc.
Experience maintaining system documentation including reading and creating network architecture diagrams
Desired Qualifications:
Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Cloud environment
Familiar with writing/Editing PowerShell Scripts
Familiar with maintaining applications built on a SQL Server database in a Windows environment.
Familiar with writing scripts to monitor system services, resources, data mine logs, etc.
Familiar with Tomcat 8.5 or higher
Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
