About the job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at EVACA. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our e-commerce platform and in-house software systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across our digital systems.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, implement, test new features to improve the user interface and experience, and ensuring the website's performance and reliability.

• Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, and other external services into our e-commerce platform to enable smooth transactions and operations.

• Develop and maintain software applications and systems that support our platform, including website enhancements, order management systems, and inventory management solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development, and apply them to our software solutions.

• Implement encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms to secure sensitive information and transactions on our platform.

• Monitor our e-commerce platform for errors and performance issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing fixes to ensure smooth operation.

• Perform manual testing to identify bugs and ensure software quality before deploying updates to our system

• Design and update backend intelligence functions to optimize various aspects of our platform's operation and enhance the customer experience.

• Other duties may be assigned

Skills and Qualifications

- 1+ years in software engineering or relevant experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java).

- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
