A manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to coordinate, schedule, and complete shipping and receiving duties. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Receive inbound MRO, tools, dies, lubricants, raw materials, and other shipments
Coordinate inbound and secondary shipment document with necessary departments or customers
Complete all shipping and receiving documentation
Keep adequate supply of inventory and move materials using forklift and report defective materials
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and abide by all safety regulations
Manage outbound shipments
Interpret packing slips, complete bills of lading, and enter data into computer
Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have at least 1 year manufacturing experience in shipping and receiving; previous experience in a metal industry is preferred
Working with suppliers of manufacturing/industrial material is preferred
At least 3+ years' experience on a sit down electric or propane tow motor; must be willing to be certified by the company
Must have experience using UPS, DHL, and FedEx Software
Must be able to speak English, follow instructions, and use basic math skills
Must be able to multi-task with accuracy while working in a fast-paced and interrupting environment
Must be detail-oriented, meticulous, innovative, and well organized
Must be able to safely lift 30 to 50 pounds and follow all safety requirements
