We seek a full-time Data Entry Specialist who works collaboratively with the ReentryWorks team members to organize and prepare reports, vouchers, and other data analyses for funders and internal use. The Data Entry Specialist will gather, review, and record program service activity daily via program documentation and electronic records. This supports and ensures that all activity is captured accurately and complies with funder expectations and Osborne standards.
This position has a hybrid schedule with work-from-home flexibility and is subject to change with or without notice.
Requirements:
Responsibilities
Review program data for accuracy and make corrections prior to entering data into the system.
Verify, correct, and delete unnecessary data
Combine data from several sources and enter the information into a prescribed computer database
Periodically conduct on-site data entry training with staff working in correctional facilities
Input information quickly and accurately from a variety of sources into a computer database
Train program and administrative staff on proper documentation and data entry procedures.
Coordinate with program staff to determine procedures for shared administrative tasks.
Organize and file documentation weekly to prepare for billing and reporting.
Conduct training and audits at Osborne's Newburgh, NY, or New York City offices as required.
Respond to requests for information and access relevant data sources.
Assist in the audit process, including internal audits and those by Osborneās public and private funders.
Maintain positive working relationships with funders and communicates program performance and challenges.
Work collaboratively and support Osborne program operations
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency
Experience:
Experience working in a professional administrative role is preferred.
One year of experience in data entry or a similar position is preferred.
Salesforce experience is a plus.
Additional Skills:
Must be able to obtain DOCCS clearance to enter the facilities.
Desire to work in criminal justice is a plus.
Must have excellent time management, be deadline-driven, and be analytical.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and customer service orientated.
Knowledge of the criminal justice system is a plus.
Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with a team.
