MODERN CITY HOMES LTD. Located at 7754 147 street, Surrey, BC, V3S 5M4 is currently looking for 4 PLUMBERS to join their team as soon as possible.

Full-Time, Permanent position at $29/hour for 40 hours per week with 4% vacation pay as BC’s Employment Standards. Various work locations as per company’s contracts. English is a required language. 1 to 2 years of experience and completion of high school is required.

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, physically demanding, bending, crouching, Kneeling, standing for extended periods.

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.

Job Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to layout of plumbing system, water supply and drainage system.

Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floors.

Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe fitting.

Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes manually or by using power tools or machines.

Test pipes and water system using air and water pressure gauges.

Joins pipes using clamps, screws, couplings, cement or welding equipment.

Install, repair and maintain domestic or commercial water and drainage system.

May prepare cost estimates for clients.
