GENERAL FOREMAN

This position requires the applicant to be responsible for engineering and technical aspects within every project.

Job Scope: Execute and revise project work plans to cater to changing needs and requirements Supervise works to ensure timely completion and adhere to various standards

Liaise with clients, Managers in preparation for site work and plan schedules Keep Project Manager well informed of status of project and coordinate communications between various departments Liaise with the design specialists on drawings, amendment and re-submission to clients Assist in conducting site measurement and inspections.

Prepare and submit project documents Attend site and office meetings and prepare progress reports to study project and design basis such as scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification, client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan.

To assist in prepare Mechanical Refurbishment & Thermal Insulation fabrication schedule, manpower requirements, manhour distribution and execution plan based on the scope of work and approved budget manhour/schedule.

To prepare Mechanical/Piping /Thermal Insulation information list and layout and document list following standard procedure created for the project. To prepare Mechanical general specification inclusive of specification for Equipment’s,Piping,Structural & Thermal Insulation standards/drawings.

Responsible for supervising of production workers to ensure that project operations run according to established production specifications, schedules and quality standards.

Responsible for production workers training, discipline, attendance, safety and quality issues.

Any other duties or activities that are assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Min 5 years of working experience in Marine/Offshore/ Oil & Gas Industries with 3 years in supervisory role

Education– Technical diploma or equivalent.
