The HVAC Sales Manager/Engineer sells thermal systems that include products from Vertiv (Liebert), Hitachi, ThermalCare, Air2O, and Systecon as well as DVL services in Central Pennsylvania. The Sales Manager is assigned accounts covering end-users, consulting engineers, general contractors and mechanical/electrical con tractors. WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
Responsible for the acquisition of orders by managing an existing portfolio of customers as well as developing new business relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, end-users, and mechanical contractors.
Analyze customer’s needs by understanding design requirements and the application of available product features and performance. Engineer solutions that meet the technical and budget requirements of the client.
Assist consulting engineers in selecting equipment to meet project performance requirements and develop specifications that document the product features necessary to meet those requirements.
Work with inside support team to generate accurate project proposals, coordinate scheduling and deliver project documentation.
Promote the product portfolio and the company by participating in local industry associations, networking groups and trade shows.
Prepare and deliver promotional and educational presentations to consulting engineers, design-build contractors, end-users, and mechanical contractors.
Maintain knowledge of competitive products and system performance, including understanding of current market pricing.
Attend project job meetings and walk-throughs.
Participate in on-going career development and training programs to keep pace with the latest technology and applications.
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts in DVL’s CRM system.
Collaborate with fellow sales associates to enhance the services provided to our marketplace and our customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
High School degree/GED required. Architectural/ Mechanical engineering degree preferred.
Recent, related successful products sales experience in the local market is required.
Knowledge and/or experience with design/build, installation, services, and application of similar products.
Ability to technically communicate with all levels of a customer account including executive levels.
Able to initiate a sales project from development to closure.
Good listening skills and the desire to solve complex technical problems.
High level of the Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Valid Drivers License to drive to customer sites..

The pay range is $80,000- $150,000 salary draw based on relevant experience
