Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior - Level Attorney with retail leasing and construction transactional experience to join our in-house legal department to represent the Company in retail real estate and construction related transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and negotiate retail lease amendments, leases, construction, and architecture agreements for new and existing stores.

Review and interpret retail lease provisions and construction agreements for existing store fleet in order to counsel business partners in real estate, retail, construction, architecture and lease accounting.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Applicant is required to have one to two years of legal experience in preparing and negotiating retail leases, lease amendments/modifications and architecture and construction agreements.

Strong analytical, communication and lease interpretation skills and previous experience multi-tasking assignments are also required to be considered for the position.

Applicant must be admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
