Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator - for powerhouse global law firm in Washington, DC.

This is a hybrid position with two days remote (Monday and Friday) and three days in the office (Tues, Wed, Thurs).

The Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator is involved with all aspects of attorney recruiting programs including lateral, clerk, law student, and entry level hiring. This position requires a high level of collaboration with attorneys and staff and the ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment.

Duties: Lateral Hiring: This position coordinates with the Legal Recruiting team and senior partners within all practice areas regarding lateral needs. Acts as a contact for judicial clerks, lateral candidates and headhunters. Duties include sourcing candidates and reviewing candidate materials as well as scheduling interviews and greeting candidates. Other duties: Collect & distribute interview feedback. Accurately track all candidates. Update firm website with open position information. Coordinate judicial clerk outreach and receptions. Manage pipeline of transfer attorneys to/from other offices. Prepare new-hire paperwork. Coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding. Focus on lateral attorney integration. Provide reports and statistical data as needed. Law School Outreach - Assist with law school and law student outreach including panels, mentoring programs, etc. Assist with sponsorship requests. Process local law school, diversity, and pro bono related sponsorships as necessary. Fall Recruiting: Schedule callback interviews. Coordinate rising second year law student receptions. Manage resume collection. Prepare on-campus materials for interviewers. Prepare for callback meetings and offer decision packets. Track candidate follow-up. Coordinate offer dinners. Maintain ViDesktop records with support of team. Process employer feedback forms. Assist with organization of annual on and off campus recruiting events, including on-site support as a representative of Recruitment team. Summer Associate Program: Coordinate Summer Associate orientation. Manage summer associate work allocation. Plan, coordinate and attend events. Track Summer Program budget. Coordinate mid and end of summer reviews. Liaise between the Summer Associates and the attorneys and staff. New Associate Onboarding/Orientation: Coordinate multi-day orientation agenda. Manage all speakers and related presentations. Plan orientation events. Prepare New Associate onboarding materials.

Position Requirements: Must have at least 5 years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services firm. Must also demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to work across all levels of management with various personality types; build relationships, be proactive, stay organized, and multi task in a fast paced, pressured environment. Bachelor’s degree required. Knowledge and expertise regarding lateral attorney recruitment activities; strong leadership and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in the use of software, including Microsoft Office. Experience with ViDesktop ideal. Flexibility for seasonal OT.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
