NP/PA Trauma Surgery Kalamazoo, MI

Hospital has an exciting opportunity in southwest Michigan for a goal oriented, energetic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. The practice currently consists of six surgeons and four advanced practice providers. This position will be full-time, hospital employed, with an inpatient, critical care focus, some surgical assisting, assisting with trauma resuscitations and performing bedside procedures (arterial lines, central lines, chest tube placement).

Position requirements will be working up to 12 shifts per 4 week block. Rotating block scheduling includes a mix of day (7a-8p) and night (7p-8a) shifts with some weekends. Extra compensated shifts are also available to cover vacations, sick time or needs of the practice. This position also works closely with residents and students offering teaching opportunities. Experience in trauma or a critical care setting preferred.
